In 1975 Jan E. Rivelsrud and Prince Carl Bernadotte founded the company Rica Hotell- og Restaurantkjede A/S. It all started with the Bajazzo restaurants in Oslo and Bodø. Many things have happened since then.
Today Rica Hotels is the largest and only hotel chain in Norway that covers the entire country. Rica incorporates nearly 80 hotels in Norway and Sweden.
